The Climate Challenge

In the Fall of 2019 the Climate Science Alliance will host thirty high school ambassadors and their mentors at the Southwestern Tribal Climate Summit. Students from all different backgrounds will come together to participate in The Climate Challenge.

This immersive experience will not only connect students with scientists, managers, and artists, but also challenge them to reflect and analyze the climate impacts in their communities. Together they will investigate climate strategies and solutions and formulate action plans to implement in their sphere of influence. At the conclusion of the program, the ambassadors will present their work to environmental professionals attending the summit - with a cash prize awarded to seed fund the most promising climate action plans.
