South Whidbey School Farms

Since 2014, the South Whidbey School District's student farmers have been growing fresh vegetables using organic practices integrated with farm-based curriculum. Our program has over an acre and a half of growing space, including student beds, production and market beds, a High School Farm Stand, inclusive sensory and elevated beds, and a developing edible forest space! Students at all levels experience hands-on learning in science, farming, cooking, and eating. Our program connects students to learning in so many dynamic ways!
