Shining Hope’s Monthly Food Fund (January)

NOTE: As of October 2024, we are committing $500 from Kalungi's brokerage business to meet our monthly expenses. It is our prayer that as this side business gets more established, we can commit more each month. 

With your generous support, you make it possible for 21 parentless children to continue being cared for in our Christian home, as well as 50+ neighbor kids to receive daily lunches and learn about God. 

Our expenses for each month are:

• Food (rice, posho, beans, bread, eggs, vegetables, fruit): $2,100
• Toiletries: $75
• Transportation/gas: $115
• Francis, a disabled man (food and toiletries): $75
• Payment for our three lady helpers: $220
• Internet: $30

Ministry costs and inflation are increasing faster than our donor base is growing. We currently have $380 coming in each month through recurring donations.
