PSN FLAG FOOTBALL INC
My name is Ned James, Jr., and I am the commissioner of our community youth Flag Football league in Palm Springs North/Miami Gardens, Fl. First and foremost, I want to thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to read this letter and consider our needs.
PSN Flag Football is a non-profit organization (501 (c) (3) approved), put together by a group of caring fathers who have a passion for the sport and children. Our mission is to create a positive atmosphere and opportunity for children to be mentored and shown the tools needed, not only in football but in life as a whole. Our motto is that this is“Bigger than Football”.
We started this league in hopes of bringing back the concept of having a community sport’s league that is widely known by our community and that has a main focus on the children in the community. We are mentoring and training children (boys and girls) in our league ages 5-14 years old and we strongly believe that through our community-based flag football we can teach them leadership skills, healthy competition, responsibility, sportsmanship, etc.
While we have mostly funded our league through our own money and some parent donations we are need of your financial support to be able to carry out the league’s future ambitious, community projects, and to keep our league going and growing. PSN Flag Football would like to keep running our league season after this season and eventually be able to provide lower income children in the community with opportunities to play in our league at no cost or at a reduced rate.
We hope that you will be able to join us in our mission and help donate to our community league.
Your donation will help pay for equipment, park and field fees, referees, and Child sponsorship opportunities. All donations are tax-deductible, and we can provide you with any paper work necessary.
We thank you in advance for your time and consideration. If you have any questions or want to find out more about our league, please feel free to contact us. We also welcome you to come out and see us on Saturday’s at Country Lake Park, so you can experience firsthand what our league is about.
