Goal
AIDE Coalition is a non-profit organization made up primarily of private-bar attorneys, advocating for immigration diversity and equality. Our mission is to protect workforce immigration for a wide array of industries, investors, talented individuals, experienced professionals and in-demand skilled and unskilled workers, through the promulgation of fair and balanced immigration laws. All contributions received will be spent on advocacy and lobbying efforts to inform Congress about the adverse consequences of S. 386 and H.R. 1044 Fairness for High Skilled Immigrants Act, advocate for hearings on this unbalanced and divisive zero-sum legislation and advocate for a balanced and comprehensive solution within the employment based visa allocation system that addresses the backlog and prevents its recurrence, while maintaining access to workforce immigrations for qualified immigrants from every part of the world.
In order to advance its mission, in 2020 AIDE Coalition retained the services of Jones Walker Law Firm and Vocero LLC headed by former Congressman Carlos Curbelo with a monthly retainer of $12,000. Jones Walker provided approximately 6 months of services which was paid in part by the $20,000 in donations received by AIDE Coalition in the first half of 2020. We now aim to raise an additional $24,000 in order to re-engage and fund lobbying efforts in 116th Congress lame-duck session.
