CHFGMA Recurring & One-Time Contributions

Clinton Hill Fort Greene Mutual Aid (CHFGMA) is a coalition of neighbors supporting each other through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Recognizing that our community has been impacted by gentrification and systemic racism, we seek to repair harm and create equity through redistribution and advocacy.

We established our Groceries & Essentials Fund in 2020 to help neighbors cover the costs of food, medicine, baby supplies, and more. The need for this support has remained critical. Each month, we aim to raise $18,000 to distribute $50 to a household of one, and $100 to a household of two or more for approximately 160 households. If we do not raise enough to fund at these levels, we distribute what we can.

With support from donors, we have been able to respond to requests from over 700 households, and we have redistributed over $819,000 in our community.

You can help your neighbors get what they need by making a one time or recurring contribution.

No amount is too small--it all adds up!
