Alyssa J. Patterson for Judge Criminal District Court No. 5

Attorney Alyssa J. Patterson is a Dallas County native, born and raised in Cedar Hill, Texas. Patterson has a vested interest in Dallas County. She is running for Judge to make a difference, and has over 10 years of experience. As a criminal trial attorney she has the heart for the people and an extensive criminal law background.

She understands the dynamics of the criminal justice system, poverty, economic inequality, lack of legal resources, childhood upbringing that shifts citizens into the criminal system, lack of familial and community support.

Patterson plans to preside with fairness, experience, knowledge of the law, compassion, and toughness when needed, and an open non-biased mind on the bench if elected. 

Patterson believes Dallas County deserves Judges who preside with fairness for all citizens, have heart and compassion for everyone who enters the Court, and efficiently manages caseloads and dockets. Alyssa plans to handle cases swiftly, and work to eliminate backlogs in the Dallas County Criminal Courts.
